1. Setup

Opening Pişti rule: if the 4 face-up centre cards include three or more of the same rank, the hand is redealt. (Pişti Bahane handles this automatically.)

2. Turn order & playing cards

3. Collecting the pile

You collect the entire centre pile when the card you play matches the rank of the top card on the pile. Collected cards go face-down in your personal pile and are counted at the end of the hand.

If you do not collect, your card simply becomes the new top card and play continues.

4. Pişti and Double Pişti

The 4 face-up opening cards do not create a Pişti opportunity: collecting them when one remains is treated as a normal collection, not a Pişti.

5. Jacks

A Jack collects the entire pile regardless of the top card's rank — with one exception: a Jack played onto a pile whose only card is another Jack is a Double Pişti (20 points), not a regular Pişti.

6. Re-dealing

When both players have played all 4 cards from their current hand, the dealer deals 4 more cards to each player from the draw deck. This continues until the full 52-card deck has been dealt (13 rounds of 4+4). After the last deal, no more cards remain.

7. End of hand

After all 52 cards have been played, any remaining cards on the centre pile are given to the player who made the last collection. This does not count as a Pişti. Then scores are tallied.

8. Scoring

Source Points each Count Total
10 of Diamonds (10♦)313
2 of Clubs (2♣)212
Jacks (J)144
Aces (A)144
Majority bonus313

Fixed card points total 16. On top of that, each Pişti adds 10 and each Double Pişti adds 20. There is no upper limit on Pişti bonuses.

Majority bonus: the player who collected more cards (at least 27 out of 52) earns 3 bonus points. If both players collected 26 cards, no majority bonus is awarded.

9. Match scoring

The player who scores more points wins the hand and gets 1 match point. A tie scores nothing for either player. The next hand is then dealt — the deal alternates each hand regardless of who won.
